This article by Yoram Eshet Alkali and Yair Amichai-Hamburger discusses digital literacy on an informative level. It explores the many types of skills needed to be used for digital literacy. The authors also say that this kind of literacy will be more successful if you use the skills such as; photo-visual skills, branching skills, socio-economic navigation, etc. Near the end of this experiment with digital literacy, the authors stated that younger participants did better with photo and branching literacy, while older participants did better at being more literate with the other literacy tasks.

I think that the authors are trying to argue their point by saying that at this day in age, no matter the age, digital literacy is important and becoming more and more prevalent. The authors are not necessarily arguing but wanted their experiment in digital literacy to be out there so that others could understand the skills needed and being used and that basic literacy is not going to be the only type of literacy we have in our culture anymore.
